...The Late Great Tim Rose who composed With Bonnie.. Dobson the classic and much admired / recorded anti war anthem "Morning Dew". Howard was joint solo headline act at the Astor Deal (Aug 2002 Acoustic Festival flyer shown) a month Later came a great shock that Tim Rose had lost a battle he had been fighting with Cancer. I was privileged to be there to witness a true great Legendary artist in action . Audience added "Morning Dew" to their set list and its on "alive&kickin&screamin&shoutin" CD.. ............Far left Torn stub for Howard’s solo with Tim Rose. Middle pic for Lucinda single. Name that Car?. Far right the late great Gus Dudgeon and his wife Sheila who also tragically died earlier that year in a car crash. Howard told me at his solo Astor gig that year 02 that he was on Holiday when he heard the news. Why has there never been a programme about the life and work of this true genius like a Southbank type as some of the dross on there beggers belief. The only TV I remember seeing him on was one where different Producers had to produce and record a band and then be judged as who was to have a single released, like a reality type i suppose.Idea died a death I think. What was the name of the programme?
